Set-up
About a minute, once.
Plug the adapter into your car’s USB port and pair your phone over Bluetooth. From then on it connects automatically every time you start the car, before you’ve pulled away.
Controls
Your car, unchanged.
Touchscreen, wheel buttons, factory knob and voice control all work exactly as they did. The adapter removes the cable, nothing else.
Design
Small enough to forget.
Lower-profile than the cable it replaces, so it sits flush in your console. Dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.3 keep music in sync, navigation live and calls clear.
In the box
Fits either port.
USB-A and USB-C adapter cables are both included, so the adapter works with whichever port your car has.

Questions, answered
If your car (or aftermarket head unit) has wired Apple CarPlay or Android Auto - the kind where you plug your phone in with a cable - The adapter makes it wireless. That covers virtually every car with factory CarPlay from 2016 onwards. If your car doesn't have CarPlay at all, The adapter cannot add it.
iPhone: any model running iOS 10 or later. Android: phones on Android 11 or newer with Android Auto (a few models, notably Huawei, are not compatible).
Plug the adapter into your car's USB port, then pair your phone over Bluetooth the same way you'd pair headphones. It takes about a minute, and you only do it once - after that it connects automatically every drive.
Wireless CarPlay adds a fraction of a second next to a cable, but audio, maps and calls stay in sync - you won't notice it in day-to-day driving.
Not through the adapter - going wireless means your phone stays in your pocket. If you want to charge on a longer drive, any other port or a wireless charging pad works alongside it.
Yes - Nexlin is 2-in-1. It makes factory wired Apple CarPlay wireless for iPhone, and factory wired Android Auto wireless for Android phones.

Genuinely plug and play. USB-C cable included fit my Astra without any adapters. Music, WhatsApp and Google Maps all work exactly like the cable did, minus the cable.

Bought it for my husband and his Audi A3 and he has not stopped going on about it. Sits neatly in the armrest cubby so you would never know it is there.

Does what it says. Very occasionally takes a few seconds longer to reconnect after the car has sat overnight, but nothing like the horror stories I read about cheaper adapters. Maps and calls work perfectly.

Took about a minute to set up in my Kia Sportage. Reconnects on its own every time I get in, no faffing with the cable or settings. Very impressed.
