What we collect
- Order details: your name, email address, phone number, delivery address, and what you bought.
- Payment status: payments are handled by Stripe. Full card numbers do not pass through or remain on our systems.
- Messages: information you send by email, through support, or through the shopping assistant.
- Device and usage data: pages viewed, approximate location, device type, and identifiers set by cookies.
Why we use it
- To fulfil your order and send delivery updates.
- To answer questions and handle returns.
- To keep business records required by law.
- To prevent fraud and keep the site secure.
- To measure and improve the store and our advertising, where consent or legitimate interests allow it.
Who we share it with
We share only the information each provider needs to perform its service:
- Stripe for payment processing.
- Delivery carriers, such as Royal Mail, to deliver your order.
- Cloudflare and Vercel for hosting and content delivery.
- Analytics and advertising providers to measure store usage and advertising performance.
- OpenAI to answer questions entered into the shopping assistant. Payment details are not included.
- Our email provider to send order confirmations and delivery updates.
We do not sell personal information. Some providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, we use appropriate UK safeguards.
Cookies
Essential cookies keep the cart and checkout working. Analytics and advertising cookies help us understand usage and measure advertising. You can block or delete non-essential cookies in your browser settings.
How long we keep information
We keep order records for up to 6 years to meet UK tax and accounting obligations. Support correspondence is normally kept for up to 2 years. Analytics data follows each provider’s retention settings.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR, you may ask us to access, correct, delete, restrict, or provide a copy of your personal information. You may also object to certain uses. Email hello@nexlin.co.uk and we will respond within one month.
You may complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk if you are unhappy with how your information is handled.
